Kesko increased the number of visitors by 25 percent

Kesko has circa 2,000 stores in Nordic and Baltic countries, Russia and Belarus. In 2009, the company redesigned its website, and was looking for a content management system that was flexible and made the site easy to use for different targeted audiences.

User friendly website

"When redesigning the site, we put a lot of emphasis on users always being able to know where they are on the site. This means keeping the navigation structure simple, ensuring breadcrumbs are visible on all the pages, and including a sitemap. We also thoroughly analyzed what visitors were looking for, and tried to offer them quick gateways to the right information from the main page" says Harri Utoslahti, Communication Manager, Kesko.

Visitor increased with 25 percent

"EPiServer's best and probably most important feature is its user-friendly interface. Kesko.fi is a corporate site with many interest groups, and now they can find information related to them – such as employee videos for job seekers, and analytical tools for investors – as easily as possible. After changing the site, the number of our visitors increased 25 percent, so we are very happy with the results."
