Business Analyst - London, UK

The Sales Operations department at Episerver is responsible for ensuring that executive management has the visibility they need into the business, that the field is properly empowered, and that the sales and services organizations have the process/tools to operate efficiently and effectively. Cooperation and collaboration across all departments at Episerver is key as well as a very close alignment with the executive team. Besides being an Excel expert, the Business Analyst will focus on the following core responsibilities:

Financial Sales Planning & Analysis

  • Project manage monthly booking reconciliation efforts with the Finance organization
  • Project manage revenue analysis based on monthly bookings
  • Create financial modeling and analysis specific to annual budgets, revenue forecasting, and long term strategic planning
  • Synthesize large amounts of data, develop insights and recommendations and transform them into easily understood and compelling presentations 
  • Call out abnormalities and trends in data sets and make recommendations to senior management based on this insight
  • Project manage documentation efforts for specific policies and processes under both finance and sales
  • Support monthly Board reporting requirements  
  • Analyze and provide on demand analysis regarding: pipelines, sales results, segmentation, leads and forecasting 
  • Drive and distribute bi-weekly pipeline reports and executive summary

Systems Management, Support & Training

  • Support the CRM/SFA system specific to the sales organization
  • Support the License Center system and supporting quote approval workflow
  • Identify / recommend tools to improve performance and works with IT to implement such tools
  • Drive weekly data cleansing initiatives in CRM/SFA
  • Deliver field readiness training specific to CRM/SFA best practices

Essential requirements 

  • University degree with a focus in management, finance or technology
  • Approximately 4+ years of experience in Sales Operations (preferably within the enterprise software business) 
  • Be an expert in excel 
  • Excellent written, analytical and business development skills to balance strategic thinking and execution of tactical activity including the ability to crisply communicate and present at an executive level
