Gatwick Airport, Arriva and Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors recognised for best B2C, B2B and E-commerce websites
Episerver, a global software provider for innovative ecommerce and digital marketing solutions, today announced the winners of the Episerver Website Awards 2013, which celebrate best-in-class websites built on the Episerver platform.
Over 40 brands in the UK entered the awards, which were judged by a panel of six industry expert judges with extensive experience in digital marketing, brand development and ecommerce implementation, and voted for by the public, resulting in the following winners:
Best B2C website – winner Gatwick Airport by Auros and Merchant Marketing, runner up Pizza Hut by Amaze
Best B2B website – winner Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors by POSSIBLE, runner up Talktalk Business by twentysix
Best E-commerce website – Arriva by Freestyle Interactive
The entries were judged on evidence of customer centricity, multichannel and mobile innovation, business results, customer benefits and the overall experience. The winning websites all demonstrate true excellence, incorporating advanced personalisation and responsive design to deliver a seamless experience for their visitors.
The winners were announced at an awards ceremony as part of Episerver's Customer and Partner day, held at the Hyatt Regency, London, on 19th November 2013, where the winning brand and partner company were presented with an award.
Maria Wasing, VP Global Marketing of Episerver and judge on the panel commented: "The standard of award entries this year was very high and the judging panel was extremely impressed in how brands are evolving their digital strategies. Gatwick, Arriva and RICS outshone the competition due to their outstanding visitor offering, including behavioural adaptability, personalisation and the exemplary use of the Episerver platform."
