EPiStore (version 2.3 is an e-shopping module with integrated shopping carts for EPiServer CMS 5 SP1. EPiStore is easily customized and can be further developed to meet the requirements of different customers.

EPiStore makes it possible to add an order function to the intranet or Web. EPiStore is a freestanding module and can easily be added to EPiServer CMS 5 SP1 or later without affecting the existing Web.

EPiStore can be used for internal and external shopping. The product includes support for product presentations, search functions, order functions, order handling and much more. 

EPiStore is designed so that a visitor can add products to a shopping cart without having to identify themselves. The system is able to maintain the status of the shopping cart for non logged-on users even in the event of the Web service going down. Before placing an order however, visitors are required to identify themselves via a new or existing account. He/she can create an account themselves so that there is no fault in the order stating that a previous order had not been made.
