Scheduled Courses for Web-based Training

Below is the schedule of our planned courses on the web during 2008.

This form of education is best suited for you who have experience with computers and have difficulty travelling or being away from work for longer periods of time. You need to have good skills regarding how to handle your computer with different settings, along with the abilty to install components and also a good knowledge about how the internet works in general.

We carry out the courses in small groups and in shorter units of approximately 2+2 hours. Each participant sits at a place of his or her own choice with access to a computer and the internet. We use a tool called Webex, where the teacher can share his or her screen and use it for demonstrations as well as for theoretical expositions. We speak to each other over the telephone. You need to have access to a stationary phone since it is not possible to call up the education with a mobile phone. The courses are carried out against websites that are installed with EPiServer, which means that the courses are always effected via your browser (Internet Explorer 6.0) and therefore do not make any special demands of your own computer.

Knowledge sticks easier in our memory if we provide for all our senses and if we also, immediately after learning, go through what we have learned again. That is the reason for our splitting of these web-based courses in two shorter units.  Between the units there is time for reflection and repetition. The educational units with the teacher are 2+2 hours. Thereafter the participants are recommended to schedule at least another hour for exercises that need to be done before the next unit. The exercises are with advantage printed before the course starts.

The course will last for approximately two hours starting at 8 a.m. GMT each day. In the schedule above there are two days shown, and that refers to the first and second unit of the course. The number in respective cell refers to the dates of the month in question when the course take place.
