Mellanskog - the forestry owners

About half (28,000) of all forestry owners in the heart of Sweden are members of Skogsägarna Mellanskog. Mellanskog was looking for a simple and flexible web publishing tool to use for production and updates of their external website, their extranet for elected representatives and their intranet. The key words for the websites were simplicity, easy to find and appealing, but not flashy. Mellanskog also wanted to attract the female forestry owners to the website.

Solution:

Sogeti developed the websites on the EPiServer platform and included the EPiServer module EPiStore. The solution inludes an external website, an extranet and an intranet. Sogeti was responsible for the entire project from workshop, specification and web design to systems development, integration and implementation. Sogeti has also educated the editors and administrators at Mellanskog. Mellanskog and Sogeti are continuously improving the website.

Results:

The website has a marketing function and is also an information channel for all target groups of Mellanskog. By using a common publishing tool the work has been substantially simplified for the editors. At the same time a uniform look has been implemented. The design strengthens and clarifies the identity of Mellanskog on the internet. Through this new and improved website the visitor gets a homogeneous impression of Mellanskog and its operations.
