EPiServer AB is very proud to announce that during the BNP's CMS Best Practice seminar 2006 in Copenhagen Denmark, EPiServer was awarded as Best in Overall Innovation! EPiServer also received a Challenger Award, the Security Challenger.
For the first time BNP Consulting, on November 21st 2006 in Copenhagen, Denmark, handed out awards to vendors of the leading content management systems (CMS) in the European market. Partner and CMS-expert Lars Pedersen of BNP Consulting, declares: "The very first CMS awards in the world have now been handed out to vendors who are all selling the CM-systems that set the pace on the European market right now”.
BNP Consulting presented two types of awards within different categories of importance for buyers of CMS. The Leader awards are given to the vendors of the best systems and the Challenger awards are for upcoming CMS which are very close to the best in the market.
EPiServer received the Leader Award with the motivation:

These CMS awards are the first of their kind in the world. With the awards, impartial advisors BNP Consulting wish to acknowledge Best Practice within the CMS world to the benefit of the users.
