Microsoft .NET Awards EPiServer AB

Mikael Runhem, founder of EPiServer AB, accepts the prestigious award at Microsoft .NET Awards 2005

EPiServer AB won the award for the class ISV/Packaged Solutions with Content Management solution EPiServer and the customer Sif. The Web solution EPiServer 4 has provided Sif with a solution that allows members to meet and hold discussions, and exchange ideas and information directly online.

EPiServer makes it possible for companies and organizations to customize information, according to the requirements of the target group, personalize functions and integrate with other business-critical systems. By using a solution based entirely on .NET, comprising Microsoft Internet Information Server, SQL Server, SharePoint Portal Server and standard programs like Microsoft Office, a unique Web site is created for each visitor, using the same authentication model as Windows.

Sif's Web site has been developed by ElektroPost's partner Dropit.

"The jury's task this year was more difficult than ever. We received a lot of very qualified solutions, which made the job of appointing a winner both very tough and a lot of fun," says Karin Älfvåg, Marketing Director for .NET at Microsoft AB.

An award like this is confirmation that we are on the right road and that our platform holds a high quality," says Mikael Runhem, founder of EPiServer AB.

EPiServer is the most popular Content Management platform on the Nordic market. The technology is built on Microsoft's .NET platform, enabling EPiServer to fully support, for example, Web Services. EPiServer is supplied by a partner network with partners worldwide. EPiServer is developed in Sweden by EPiServer AB.
