This course provides students with an overview of .NET Framework using Visual Studio 2005 as a development tool. By using complex and advanced products and technologies like .NET Framework and Visual Studio, Microsoft aims to make it possible to easily create advanced systems and applications.

Course participants will learn the details of Microsoft's development platform. The course provides students with general knowledge about how to build applications with Visual Studio and .NET, making it possible to either continue development themselves, or learn more about a particular technology in other courses.

Participants will learn how to manage data with ADO.NET and present it in Web applications with ASP.NET, and Windows applications with Windows Forms, and will also receive tips and advice on what to consider when building applications based on .NET Framework.
