EPiServer AB, the world’s fastest growing provider of Web Content Management (WCM) platforms, today announces the opening of an office in Finland. The growth rate in the Finnish market is good and the new office further strengthens EPiServer's position in the Nordic market. The Country Manager in Finland is Kalle Bäckman, previously of Logica, Finland.
The establishment in Finland is part of EPiServer's planned expansion and the company currently has several partners in Finland, together with many customers that already use EPiServer CMS.

The experience gained from the two years that EPiServer has existed on the Finnish market proves that the demands from the Finnish market correspond with the driving forces in the rest of the Nordic region. Accessibility is very important in the public sector and authorities also need to be able to build Web sites that can offer e-services. It is important for companies to create Web sites that both deliver business benefit and have the ability to convert visitors into business in real-time. A general trend in all branches is to integrate Web sites with external systems.
Visitor expectations for public Web sites and intranets have dramatically increased over the past few years. Companies have an increasing demand for a Web Content Management system that makes it quick and easy to produce functions that develop the Web site in unison with marketing requirements. The trend for more pages on Web sites means that an increasing number of editors need to be able to update the content.
