EPiLogConverter

EPiServer uses dynamic addresses, which means that all pages are identified by a unique page number. Sometimes log analyzing tools lack the support of dynamic addresses and do not function properly.

EPiServer AB has developed an Add-in to solve the problem - EPiLogConverter. EPiLogConverter is a small application that converts all dynamic URLs to static URLs.

Example

The link http://www.episerver.com/templates/Page____3649.aspx will be converted to www.episerver.com/Svenska/Produkter/Episerver4/Moduler.html. These links are understood by EPiServer (in versions 4.21 and later), clicking a converted link will bring you to the correct page.

Tip! Set up a scheduled job on the Web server, in order to automatically convert all pages every night.

EPiLogConverter only supports SQL-Server based installations.

This add-in is free of charge for EPiServer customers. Errors can be reported to EPiServer AB, but we do not offer any support for this add-in. We cannot give any hosting guarantees.
