Många företag som arbetar med ärende- och dokumenthantering har ofta även ett stort behov av att även på ett enkelt sätt publicera dokumenten på exempelvis ett intranät. Meteorits publiceringsmodul för Platina möjliggör just denna funktionalitet.

Med denna modul installerad i Platina förenklas processen med publicering av dokument från Platina avsevärt. Med hjälp av ett specialanpassat flöde i Platina publiceras dokumentet på en fördefinierad plats. Modulen är byggd för att ge den webbansvariga möjligheten att granska dokumenten innan de publiceras, om så önskas.

Filnamnet på dokumentet som skall publiceras ändras till ett lättförståligt namn baserat på titel i Platina. Därefter kopieras dokumentet till den valda katalogen på den webbserver som EPiServer ligger på. För att ge så stor kontroll som möjligt på publiceringen skapas automatiskt påminnelser i Platina som visar om publiceringen har lyckats eller inte.

EPiServer i sin tur har funktionalitet för att exponera filer från utpekade kataloger på webbservern. Exakt hur publicerade filer visas styrs av den grafiska profilen på webbplatsen.

EmailEncoder is a product designed to protect e-mail addresses from being caught by these sniffer programs by remaking published e-mail addresses into images and encrypt “mailto” links. EmailEncoder can be applied to a EPiServer 4.x installation and requires no additional modification to your current application, it works as a filter towards the web client. As the filter is installed on the server, no remodeling of EpiServer page templates is necessary.

• Visible e-mail addresses are no longer limited to using images, the e-mail text and its layout is preserved. 
• One website can use different e-mail styles.
• Web Accessibility Initiative (WAI) is no longer limited, since images are seldom used. 
• EmailEncoder now supports most web browsers on the market (Microsoft Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, Mozilla, Opera ao.)

Show information on an interactive map

For each location you wish to show, a map page is created in EPiServer, which will show the location centered on an interactive map image. By placing a group of map pages in a catalog, all locations in the catalog can be shown on the map simultaneously.

EPiGeo is based on the map system Geosition Platform™ that is developed by Kartena. The module consists of an integration against Geosition Platform™, is designed as a tool for developers of EPiServer based websites and is therefore available as a downloadable package. The module source code is included in the package, so that the module can be adapted to customer specific needs.

EPiGeo supports EPiFields and can thereby be used via the drag-and-drop technology in EPiFields.

EPiLogConverter is a small application that converts all dynamic URLs to static URLs.

Example
The link http://www.episerver.com/templates/Page____3649.aspx will be converted to www.episerver.com/Svenska/Produkter/Episerver4/Moduler.html. These links are understood by EPiServer (in versions 4.21 and later), clicking a converted link will bring you to the correct page.

Tip! Set up a scheduled job on the Web server, in order to automatically convert all pages every night.

In using PermissionReport it is enough to choose a user or a group, to get a report of all pages where that user has any permission.  In a concise, clearly expressed and presented way this tool shows you a report of the page in question. From there to changing the permissions, you never have to leave the tool.
 
Just check or uncheck the permissions that are to be changed on pages of interest and save everything with just a single press of a button. If you want to get a report of a certain part of your website, you only have to put a starting point in the tree structure and only the permissions below this point will be presented.

ProcessMap consists of a framework for building adapted process descriptions. Client adaptations are only performed by Meridium personnel.

ProcessMap is fully integrated to EPiServer and uses EPiServer standard functionality for version handling, permissions control and approval flow. The drawing tool is completely web based and is used through the common EPiServer editing interface.

Within the drawing tool all graphic process images are created and linked to their respective EpiServer content. The webpage visitor navigates to the content through the graphic view by clicking on its respective process block. ProcessMap comes with a set of standard symbols, but it is very easy to add your own symbols.

File Organizer is completely integrated with EPiServer. It replaces EPiServer’s simple file manager and comes with a tool for intelligent image management. File Organizer takes good
care of your images, links and documents.

File management and structure

File Organizer stores everything in a central tree and folder structure whose files can also be assigned categories. It is easy to move and copy files, and File Organizer clearly displays where on the web site an image, document or link is used. Special metadata can be stored for each file. Centralized storage means that any changes you make are applied everywhere the file is used.

Image editing

Using File Organizer’s custom image editor, you can crop and rotate your images. Image size and file format can be changed, too. The tool also displays clear information about the image,
such as file size and pixel measurements.

Security
