Service Development Specialist, Stockholm

As a Service Development Specialist at EPiServer AB you will play an important role in helping our partners build their successful Web solutions on the EPiServer platform. Our Service Development team currently consists of six developers, who are now eager to become seven.

Job Description

EPiServer CMS, the world’s fastest growing commercial CMS platform, is used by thousands of organizations and companies around the world for managing their Web sites and intranets. Our products are developed in Sweden and Ukraine and are used by our customers for integration and customization. You will be a member of the team assisting our partners with the development of these integrations and customizations.

A Service Development Specialist has a wide variety of responsibilities, not only to solve technical queries and investigate complex problems, but also to perform debugging and analyze logs from various parts of the customizations. You will also be responsible for helping our partners with the development of their code and solutions by creating code samples and alternative solutions, often to resolve certain problems.

Qualifications

As you will be in charge of your own assignments it is essential that you can work both independently and as part of a team. Communication with developers from different parts of the world requires good interpersonal skills and business attitude. The dialog, often kept within our system, between a Service Development Specialist and our partner developers is in English so you must be fluent in both written and spoken English.

We are looking for someone with ASP.NET and C# development experience, so knowledge of this is an advantage. You should also have a good understanding of HTML, XML, CSS and be technically competent within the areas of Visual Studio 2005/2008, SQL Server 2005, Windows 2000/2003 Server, IIS and Active Directory. Knowledge of EPiServer CMS will also be considered an advantage.
