Developer - Washington D.C., USA

Join the Expert Services team that consults with customers and partners on best practices with regard to implementations of our commerce, content management, and digital marketing solutions. You will support customers and partners with architectural design, development, third party integration strategy, and application performance tuning.  The developer role is a dynamic customer facing position that requires previous consulting or services experience.

  • Exceed your billable utilization target
  • Manage multiple application development projects simultaneously
  • Assist with the development of service estimates as required
  • Provide best practice advice and guidance to clients and partner development teams
  • Administer high quality technical consultancy and implementation work at partner and/or client location
  • Participate in partner's projects in-house or on-site delivering production ready code and troubleshooting live/development environments.
  • Develop, customize and implement features based on Episerver’s products upon request

Essential Requirements

  • 1+ years of experience using Microsoft technologies including .NET framework, ASP.NET, C#, XML, and SQL Server.
  • Proficient in JavaScript libraries such as JQuery and debugging tools like Firebug.
  • Proficient with JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3 and responsive design.
  • Experience with Microsoft Visual Studio
  • Experience working with HTML and CSS and JavaScript using IE, Chrome, Safari and Firefox.
  • Strong analytical skills for technical problem solving and experience in supporting production applications.
  • Must possess strong development, customer service and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work in an independent or team environment.
  • Graduate in Computer Science or equivalent work experience
  • Willingness to travel onsite about 20% of the time

Bonus Qualifications! 

  • Hands-on development experience with Episerver CMS and Episerver Commerce a plus
  • Mastery of client-side javascript framework (Angular, React, etc.) a plus
  • In-depth knowledge of Search frameworks such as Elastic Search, SOLR, or Lucene a plus
