E-Mail Marketing Consultant - Berlin, Germany

The role of the Business Consultant will define and execute concrete projects in collaboration with customers of a different variety of sectors (e. g. startups, small and medium businesses as well as enterprise companies). The Business Consultant will work closely together with different Customer Success Managers to ensure a high customer satisfaction and drive financial performance and growth.

The Role

  • Analyze existing structures and processes in the e-mail and online marketing world of our customers and work out initial optimization proposals
  • Development of concepts and strategies for a variety of topics, such as optimization of the newsletter subscription process, newsletter layout or lifecycle campaigns
  • Present project results to the customers. If necessary, you will be supported by colleagues from other disciplines (e.g. Support Engineer, Web Developer)
  • Initiate, prepare, execute and participate in workshops and webinars on various topics of e-mail / online marketing and the customer journey
  • In close cooperation with our sales team, you also help to attract new clients and prospects
  • Expand your special marketing know-how gradually and expand it "on the job" based on customer projects and your own research

Essential Requirements

  • At least 3 years’ experience working in online/internet marketing
  • Fluent in German and English, both spoken&written
  • High affinity for digital marketing (esp. online and e-mail-marketing)
  • IT-minded and a good technical understanding
  • High level of self-motivation and good ability to act autonomously
  • Have a “Can Do” attitude
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Confident in working with the Microsoft Office package and first experience with Photoshop
  • Good presentation skills
  • Knowledge of HTML and CSS
  • Knowledge of CRM tools (i.e. MS Dynamics)
