Major Account Manager - London, UK

The Major Account Manager (“MAM”) will be responsible for providing global business leadership and management for some of Episerver´s biggest global accounts. You will build and maintain key relationships, develop and manage opportunities, define a CXO relationship strategy within the account and maintaining customer satisfaction.

The Major Account Manager is responsible for teaming with the customer’s IT and Marketing Organization to build strategic relationships across the account, articulating a clear vision and generating enthusiasm, while impacting all business groups. You will be responsible for selling at the most strategic level within the account and implementing a broad strategy for earning customer acceptance and service implementation.

The “MAM” will work with all appropriate Episerver resources (Executives, Solution Architects, Business Development, Marketing, Partners, Support, Customer Success and Expert Services) to support customer interests. This includes dotted line responsibility for downstream sales and technical resources that may be geographically distributed. 

How to Excel at Episerver

  • Actively prospect and grow revenue of Enterprise accounts within different verticals.
  • Develop strong strategic relationships within customers’ organization including R&D, Marketing and Procurement and foster counterpart relationships within Episerver.
  • Expand business with existing customers by up-selling professional services, new product releases, etc.
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge of Episerver products.
  • Contribute to a team by achieving territory goals.
  • Negotiate and close sales, holding an annual quota.
  • Must be able to meet/exceed assigned sales objectives.
  • Become a single point of contact and a reliable ally for Episerver customers.

Essential Requirements

  • Minimum 7 years of Enterprise sales experience.
  • Demonstrate self-motivation and proven success.
  • Proven track record of sales growth.
  • Consultative sales experience - present key selling points while focusing on the customer’s needs.
  • Understand client’s concerns and respond effectively.
  • Strong attention to detail and customer concerns.
  • Excellent negotiation skills, including an ability to close sales and overcome customer objections.
  • Effective written and oral communication skills – must be able to articulate in a clear, concise manner to build rapport with clients.
  • Multi-languages speaking is a plus, especially German and French.
  • Excellent leadership, organizational, project management, collaboration, and team-building skills as well as attention to detail.
  • Ability to effectively build strategic working relationships and develop and use collaborative relationships to facilitate the accomplishment of work goals.
  • Possess strong and effective planning, execution, presentation, communications, negotiations, and multi-tasking skills.
  • Proactive and entrepreneurial work style and possess a strong ability to think strategically.
  • Ability to travel 25%+ of the time.
