Episerver Clients, Sullivans and Kimball Midwest, Named Finalists in 2017 Internet Retailer Excellence Awards
Internet Retailer recognizes the two companies for achievements in B2B E-Commerce
Episerver, a global provider of a single platform to smartly manage digital content, commerce and marketing in the cloud, today announced that Sullivans, an industry-leading designer and distributor of everyday, seasonal and branded home decor product, and Kimball Midwest, a national maintenance, repair and operations (MRO) products distributor, are finalists in the 2017 Internet Retailer Excellence Awards. The awards recognize the achievements of innovative online retailers and business-to-business (B2B) digital commerce companies in the past year.
Sullivans is one of four finalists in the B2B E-Commerce Website Design category award. According to Internet Retailer, the B2B E-Commerce Website Design award recognizes digital commerce websites from manufacturers, wholesalers and distributors that best serve customers’ wants and needs with capabilities like product recommendations and flexible shipping options.
Kimball Midwest is a finalist in the B2B E-Commerce Player of the Year category, which recognizes manufacturers, wholesalers and distributors for pioneering B2B websites that increase online sales and address customer needs.

Episerver was instrumental in the redesign of both the Sullivans and Kimball Midwest websites. The Sullivans website, built by digital agency Whereoware, uses personas to deliver personalized messaging, promotions, and imagery throughout the website, including tools that streamline the inventory and order fulfilment process. The Kimball Midwest website, built by web development company Brilliance Business Solutions, incorporates enhanced site search capabilities to deliver the best results to business buyers looking for specific products and parts.
The finalists for each of the 13 IR Excellence Awards categories are determined by a team of Internet Retailer senior editors and e-commerce industry experts. Internet Retailer and B2B E-Commerce World will announce the winners at the IR Excellence Awards dinner banquet held at the Hyatt Regency McCormick Place hotel on June 7, 2017, as the Internet Retailer Conference & Exhibition (IRCE 2017) convenes for its 13th consecutive year.
