Episerver Once Again Named a Leader in Gartner™ 2016 Magic Quadrant for Web Content Management

Positioned in Leaders Quadrant Based on Ability to Execute and Completeness of Vision.

Episerver -- a global provider of a single platform to smartly manage digital content, commerce and marketing in the cloud -- today announced its placement on the September 2016 edition of Gartner’s “Magic Quadrant for Web Content Management” in the “Leaders” quadrant.

Gartner recognized Episerver as a leader for its completeness of vision and ability to execute. Episerver, whose solutions are supported by a network of more than 800 partners who empower more than 8,800 digital leaders in 30 countries, was evaluated alongside 17 other vendors for the report. The Episerver Digital Experience Cloud™ delivers an end-to-end platform-as-a-service (PaaS) to help digital marketers, content managers and merchandizers to smartly create, manage and personalize digital experiences, including sophisticated web content management (WCM) and digital commerce, backed by machine-learning algorithms and behavioral site search functionality.

According to Gartner, “Leaders should drive market transformation. Leaders have the highest combined scores for Ability to Execute and Completeness of Vision. They are doing well and are prepared for the future with a clear vision and a thorough appreciation of the broader context of digital business. They have strong channel partners, a presence in multiple regions, consistent financial performance, broad platform support and good customer support. In addition, they dominate in one or more technologies or vertical markets.”[1]

“Episerver offers rich and super productive web content management capabilities through our Digital Experience Cloud, which streamlines the collaborative management of content and commerce for marketers and merchandizers alike,” said James Norwood, executive vice president, strategy and CMO of Episerver. “As we expand our platform, we see our vision to deliver the future of immersive digital experiences coming to fruition. Our goal is to provide our customers and partners with the most empowering WCM tools available on the market today – and, from our perspective, Gartner’s recognition of Episerver as a leader in the space certainly reinforces this vision.”

Episerver has broadened its product offerings this year, adding predictive and adaptive analytics to its capabilities making both targeting of anonymous aggregate personas or personification and one-to-one engagement a reality for digital marketers. Episerver is also included in the March 2016 Gartner “Magic Quadrant for Digital Commerce”[2] and today influences some $18 billion in omnichannel revenues.
