Lyko awarded for Best Nordic website
The fast-growing e-commerce site Lyko.se emerged as the biggest winner at the Episerver Awards, which this year has expanded into a Nordic contest for web-based communication.
The Episerver Nordic Awards 2016 have been announced. This year’s big winner is Lyko, a haircare and beauty product retailer which combines online presence with more than 30 branded stores across Sweden. Lyko.se was voted Best Nordic website, also winning the Commerce category award. The jury found that ”Lyko has successfully created an ultra quick and engaging shopping experience that works seamlessly on all devices,” also commending Lyko for their smart use of content marketing to inspire and drive up-sells.
”Reviewing the contributions to the Episerver Nordic Awards, we have seen a consistent display of excellence. Specifically in the commerce category, it is apparent how the tough competition is rapidly pushing the envelope, as site features and performance translates directly into sales. Episerver Nordic Awards 2016 recognizes websites built on the Episerver platform. This year, 86 entries were nominated in five categories, where winners were selected by a professional jury. The Best Nordic website award was decided by a public, online vote. The awards were presented at a ceremony in conjunction with the Episerver Ascend Nordic conference in Stockholm.
