Episerver was named to the Constellation ShortList™ for Campaign to Commerce and to the Digital Experience (DX) Integrated Platforms ShortList in Q3 2018. See why...
Out of the 50-plus technology vendors evaluated, those included in the lists offer the key requirements for early adopters pursuing digital transformation initiatives, as determined through client inquiries, partner conversations, customer references, vendor selection projects, market share and internal research.
When asked about our reappearance in Constellation Research’s coveted ShortList updates in these two categories, James Norwood, CMO and EVP of Strategy here at Episerver, said it speaks to the breadth in which Episerver solves organizations’ digital pain points across commerce and service use cases. Norwood added he is ever-impressed by the way Constellation Research Chairman and Founder Ray Wang succinctly defines and envisions market needs.
From an organization perspective, we can’t help to also point out there is a limited number of vendors appearing on both the Campaign to Commerce ShortList for end-to-end commerce solutions and the Digital Experience (DX) Integrated Platforms ShortList for solutions that support digital transformation.
Episerver itself has been under transformation in the last few years, adding to its product portfolio to meet and anticipate customer needs. The long list of functionality Wang lists that fuel digital transformation under the digital experience platform banner, are ones Episerver is leading in individually (like content management and AI-based personalization) and as a unified platform.
In the many companies I speak to as a commerce strategist, there’s a common theme of astronomical IT and marketing expenses on technology, which contribute to a disconnect for the business user and the end customer. While consolidating a CMS, commerce platform, marketing automation and CRM solution can be seen as a political, multi-year project, it doesn’t have to be with a platform short listed by a leading, independent voice in the industry. A DXP can provide quick value once everyone is working on the same platform and moving in the same direction.
"The latest Constellation ShortList updates reflect the leading solutions sought after by both our analysts and early adopter clients. We often work with market leader and fast follower clients to identify the leading solutions that apply exponential technologies to enterprise scale and security requirements. These lists constantly change, and the updates reflect the dynamism in the market and the expertise our analysts have in recommending the best solutions to our clients," said Wang.
Constellation Research does not endorse any solution or service named in its research.
