An important part of the junior consultant program

Daniel Antell has been working as Business Developer at Valtech since fall 2010 and sees Episerver training as a natural part of Valtech's junior consultant program.

The Valtech junior consultant program is a one-year program focusing mainly on broadening technical expertise and learning about life as a consultant. The program is divided into four areas, where the first area focuses on. NET and interface development.

"The program includes both internal and external training. External training is often better and more cost-efficient than internal training, but we think it's also important that the participants experience environments other than Valtech," says Daniel.

Perfect match for the junior consultants

"Episerver Training Boot Camp is an extensive and thorough introduction to the Episerver platform," Daniel continues. He adds that he has only received positive feedback from the consultants who have attended the Episerver CMS training.

Four junior consultants participated in one Boot Camp

Pär Dahlman finished his studies at the Royal Institute of Technology in spring 2011 and started his employment at Valtech soon afterwards. Pär is participating in the junior consultant program and has attended two Episerver courses as part of the program. He first attended an editor training to gain a comprehensive insight into how Valtech's own customers work with the Episerver CMS. After that he participated in the five-day Training Boot Camp along with three colleagues, who expanded their knowledge in everything from. NET programming to advanced programming in Episerver CMS.

"Participation in Episerver's courses gave me an excellent opportunity to expand my Episerver network, which is useful both in my own work and for the consultancy. The course covered a lot in a short amount of time, which was both energizing and necessary for me, as I will be starting with new projects very soon, "says Pär.

A week dedicated to Episerver development

"The course provided an extensive introduction into Episerver development by experienced trainers, and it was great to be able to focus on the training and put other work commitments aside during the day for a work week.

My first Episerver project starts in two weeks. The combination of attending the Episerver Training Boot Camp and being involved in customer projects will help me to quickly become a full-fledged Episerver developer. I hope to soon be mature enough to become a certified developer, which a lot of Episerver developers have a goal of becoming," Pär says.
