Mobile e-commerce solution helps hair care business grow

Lyko has grown from a family salon in the countryside to one of Scandinavia's leading e-commerce sites for hair care products. The company sells 40,000 products online and handles up to 36,000 orders per day.

Challenge:

In 2013, Lyko noticed a strong increase in its mobile traffic. At the same time, the company's e-commerce platform had unused and underperforming functionality. Lyko decided it was time to look for a new platform that better fit its needs and offered a fast, responsive solution.

"We felt a responsive site was important for the user experience. People really don't like it when they come to a site and it is a scaled down version, where they can't find everything they need. Mobile is also really important for us since we can reach our customers when they have the time.
