New Era has developed a strong identity on the street and is growing its brand into apparel, and across new markets.
They needed a brand-new site that would support an interactive and rich media brand experience alongside robust digital commerce capabilities optimized for conversion. The New Era team also needed the new site to help grow their social footprint, expand their existing customer demographic, and increase operational efficiency.
The New Era Cap Company selected the Episerver Digital Experience Cloud to ensure an end to end e-commerce experience. They now have a fully responsive website that provides a consistent experience across their 40 European markets in 5 different languages. With the Episerver market management functionality, they are able to control the availability of products across various markets, with Episerver Perform providing product recommendations based on the user’s on-site journey.
New Era Caps was able to easily integrate Episerver Commerce with the range of back-end systems that they already utilised such as SAP for their product and stock management and the IBM Marketing Cloud for ECRM activities, including cart abandonment, marketing campaigns and special offers.
Just six months after launching on Episerver Digital Experience Cloud, the company reported an 18% increase YoY in Black Friday sales. The New Era team attributed the bump to the promotional work made possible by Episerver Commerce and Episerver Personalization.
