The Account Manager is responsible for managing and for ongoing development of existing designated customer relationships in North America. The accounts to be managed are a subset of accounts which fall outside of the Strategic Account list of the Account Manager. As an AM you will be responsible for independently creating and executing on an account communication and customer support strategy for a set amount of non-strategic target accounts. Additionally, you will be responsible for creating and identifying upsell opportunities within your target account base, and with closing of deals with assistance from assigned the Account Manager when required. The Account Manager role requires travel wherein AMs will be continually meeting with accounts to develop deeper relationships and further to identify emerging opportunities. AMs are also required to fully participate in ongoing organizing and running of remote regional user groups and customer events as these events will include the AM managed accounts.
All opportunities within assigned accounts will be managed by the Account Manager and you will be responsible with respect to all necessary aspects of the sales process, including stages within the sales process. A key part to this role is to ensure the quick turnaround of these transactions for the customer and Episerver. These transactions will be duly documented and categorized in CRM and maintained for forecast accuracy. This position will have an Account Call and Opportunity quota that will be provided in the terms of a Compensation Plan from Sales Operations.
